Gov. Gary Herbert Endorses Spencer Cox
Utah Gov. Gary Herbert has endorsed Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox ahead of the June 30 Republican gubernatorial primary. In addition to Gov. Herbert, Lt. Gov. Cox has received endorsements from 130 Utah mayors, dozens of county and state elected officials and former gubernatorial candidate Aimee Winder Newton.

Lt. Gov. Cox Wins Republican Convention
After winning the Republican state convention with 55 percent of the vote in the sixth round of voting, Lt. Governor Spencer Cox released the following statement:

Cox for Governor First to Submit Signatures for Republican Primary Ballot
Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox became the first candidate for governor Monday to turn in the 28,000 voter signatures needed to secure a place on Utah’s Republican primary ballot in June.

Sanctity of Life is Too Precious for a Bumper Sticker
As a society, we can do better when we talk about the most important of all issues — human life. It is not a trivial issue well-suited to bumper stickers or political debates. Life is precious. The life of the unborn is indeed sacred. And together, Spencer and I will always stand unwavering for the future of all Utah children.

Why I’m Running for Utah Governor
First and foremost, I’m running to transform Utah’s education system. I’m running because I want to upgrade and consolidate our government. I’m running because I want to give rural Utahns the voice they deserve. And finally, I’m running because politics is fundamentally broken in our country. It has become a competition to tear people down instead of a competition of ideas and bringing people together.
